Like every other big law firm (we're among the 200 largest law firms in the United States), we want only the best attorneys working for us. Whether for our Summer Associate program or our lateral hiring needs, we look for law school students and attorneys with excellent academic records, demonstrated work ability, and a commitment to the private practice of law.

But we're looking for more than great attorneys. We want to work with great people. People with passionate interests in politics, theater, or sports. People who care about their communities and participate in them. People who care about their families and friends and spend time with them. We hope that the people we hire to service our diverse client base are the same people we'd choose to invite out for a cup of coffee or a glass of beer.

Who is the perfect Hodgson Russ attorney? We don't have a Hodgson Russ attorney blueprint; we do believe, however, that attorneys with strong identities as people--as musicians or Bills fans, in roles of leadership in their churches or synagogues, and as parents who coach their children's soccer teams--do better at our Firm than those who wish only to be defined by their legal practice.
