Hodgson Russ LLP is committed to expanding our firm through the hiring and development of both entry-level attorneys and experienced lateral attorneys.

We hire entry-level attorneys primarily through our Summer Associate Program in our Buffalo and New York City offices. We also recruit third-year law students as needed for our growing practice areas.

Our lateral hiring is based on the needs of our practice groups and the needs of our clients. However, we are always interested in considering groups of experienced attorneys who possess a self-sustaining portable practice and would like to integrate into our firm.

Hodgson Russ LLP is seeking an attorney with at least ten years of financial transaction experience to join our finance practice group. Candidates must possess sophisticated and diverse commercial financial transactions experience, acting as lead attorney, in connection with asset based loans, syndicated loans, acquisition and project financing transactions, letter of credit transactions, intercreditor and subordination agreements and cross-border or international transactions. A portable book of business is preferred.

Hodgson Russ LLP is seeking an attorney with 2 - 4 years of insurance coverage experience to join the Buffalo, NY office. The ideal candidate will have experience representing insurance companies in a wide range of coverage disputes. All candidates must have excellent research and writing skills and a strong academic record.

Hodgson Russ LLP is seeking an attorney with 4 - 8 years of insurance coverage experience to join the Buffalo, NY office. The ideal candidate will have experience representing insurance companies in a wide range of coverage disputes, preferably including director & officer and reinsurance matters. All candidates must have excellent research and writing skills and a strong academic record.
