Hodgson Russ Partner Pamela Davis Heilman Elected to Board of Canadian American Business Council

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Pamela Davis Heilman, Esq., vice president for community relations and a partner in Hodgson Russ LLP's Corporate & Securities and International/Cross-Border Practice Groups, has been elected to a three-year term on the board of directors of the Canadian American Business Council. She was also elected treasurer of the board and will serve on the board's executive committee.

The Canadian American Business Council (CABC) is the major voice of the Canadian American business community in Washington. Established in 1987, CABC is a nonprofit, issues-oriented organization dedicated to elevating the private sector perspective on issues that affect both nations. CABC's activities include high-level briefings on issues of current concern, assistance with practical trade and policy challenges, and significant networking opportunities and informative seminars.

Ms. Heilman practices in the areas of international commercial transactions, nonprofit corporations, professional corporations, and mergers and acquisitions. As one of the lead lawyers in the cross-border Canada/U.S. practice, Ms. Heilman regularly counsels Canadian organizations and businesses considering expansion into the United States. Ms. Heilman also has extensive experience counseling nonprofit organizations and closely held businesses.
