Attorneys From New York City Firm Bondy & Schloss Join Hodgson Russ
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Lisa Kane Twenty-one additional attorneys will provide increased depth of service for clients NEW YORK CITY — Attorneys from Bondy & Schloss LLP, a prominent Manhattan-based law firm, have joined Hodgson Russ LLP, a full-service law firm with seven offices in the United States and Canada. Twenty-one Bondy & Schloss attorneys joined Hodgson Russ's more than 200 attorneys and continue their practice in New York City. The attorneys, who practice in the areas of corporate and securities, litigation, real estate, trusts and estates, and immigration, will add depth to Hodgson Russ, whose attorneys practice in all major areas of business law. "We couldn't be more pleased that these fine lawyers have joined our Firm. The agreement is a win-win situation," noted Robert B. Conklin, president of Hodgson Russ. The partners who lead Bondy & Schloss's principal practice areas are John Catterson, Trusts & Estates; Mark A. Harmon, and Robert Schrager, Litigation; Roy I. Martin, Real Estate; Jeffrey A. Rinde, Corporate & Securities; and Susie Kim, Immigration. Mr. Catterson concentrates his practice in estates and trusts and nonprofit law. He has over 25 years of experience in all aspects of planning and administration of estates and has provided extensive services to individual and institutional fiduciaries. Mr. Harmon focuses his practice on business, employment, and real estate litigation. His practice includes representing financial institutions and transfer agents in court proceedings dealing in securities-related issues. Mr. Martin has extensive experience in the areas of real estate and commercial and estate and trust litigation, which include financing and acquisition of office and industrial buildings, shopping centers, multi-unit residential, and condominium developments. Mr. Rinde concentrates his practice in U.S. securities regulation and compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate law and governance. He is very experienced in public and private securities offerings, including venture capital, structured and private equity and debt financings. Mr. Schrager has a great deal of experience in the areas of commercial, financial, and bankruptcy litigation. He is a co-chair of the Committee on Creditors' Rights and Banking Litigation of the New York State Bar Association's Commercial and Federal Litigation section. Ms. Kim represents the multinational business community to bring employees into the United States and to establish new business enterprises in the United States. She writes extensively and lectures in Korea and across the United States. Also joining Hodgson Russ is Joseph Goldberg, whose practice includes civil litigation, NASD and AAA arbitrations, and government regulatory and enforcement proceedings. He is the legal chair of the International Prepaid Communications Association. With more than 220 attorneys practicing in all major areas of law, Hodgson Russ is approximately the 185th largest law firm headquartered in the United States.
