Hodgson Russ attorney Deborah L. Kelly a member of NYSBA delegation to Cuba

ALBANY, N.Y. — Deborah L. Kelly, Esq., an attorney in Hodgson Russ LLP's Bankruptcy & Commercial Litigation Practice Group, was a member of a recent New York State Bar Association delegation to Cuba. Ms. Kelly was one of 19 NYSBA delegates who made the trip to conduct research on the Cuban legal system and its institutions.

During their stay, the NYSBA members attended meetings and lectures with the Cuban Movement for Peace; Carlos Alzugaray, dean of the Instituto Superior Relaciones Internacionales; Dr. Eduardo Lara Hernandez, president of the Union de Juristas de Cuba; and others. The delegates plan to publish reports about their research and findings.

Ms. Kelly has experience at both the trial and appellate court levels and has participated in administrative proceedings before various agencies and zoning boards. In addition to commercial litigation, Ms. Kelly also handles bankruptcy, real estate, and business litigation cases. She is an assistant professor of management in the School of Business at Siena College.
