ALBANY, N.Y. — A. Joseph Scott III, Esq., a partner in Hodgson Russ LLP's Real Estate & Finance Practice Group in the firm's Albany office, was a panelist at the second annual "Upstate Affordable Housing Conference," held recently at the Hyatt Regency in Buffalo, New York. The conference was sponsored by the Real Property Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.

Mr. Scott was a member of a panel that addressed issues related to real property tax and negotiating pilot agreements for professionals from many disciplines involved in affordable housing and community development.

Mr. Scott is the managing partner of Hodgson Russ's Albany office, which is currently celebrating its 15th anniversary. He has practiced exclusively in the area of industrial development agency finance, public authority finance, and municipal and school district finance since graduation from law school in 1983. Mr. Scott has acted as issuer's counsel, bond counsel, and underwriter's counsel on a variety of industrial development agency and public authority projects.
