BUFFALO, N.Y. — Benjamin M. Zuffranieri, Esq., a senior partner and lead attorney in Hodgson Russ LLP's Business Litigation Practice Group, served as co-chair for the first annual Emerging Issues in Cross-Border Commercial Litigation Seminar, April 8, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.

The seminar, presented by the Hamilton Law Association, addressed topics such as international arbitration, enforcement of foreign judgments, cross-border issues in class-action lawsuits, and more. Mr. Zuffranieri gave a lecture entitled "Enforcement of Forum Selection Clauses" at the seminar. Other speakers at the conference included the Honorable Eugene Piggott, presiding justice of the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Judicial Department.

Mr. Zuffranieri led the U.S. delegation to the seminar, while co-chair Jon-David Giacomelli of the Hamilton, Ontario, firm Ross & McBride LLP led the Canadian presenters.

Mr. Zuffranieri has experience in a wide range of civil litigation matters, including general business, construction, and cross-border litigation. He is also the Dispute Resolution Division representative of the Firm's International/Cross-Border Practice Group. Recently he spoke to litigation attorneys from across the United States at a Florida meeting of the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel.
