Hodgson Russ partners moderate, speak at UB SOMAA tax seminar

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Alice A. Joseffer, Esq., a partner at Hodgson Russ LLP, was a featured speaker recently at a seminar entitled "The Top Ten: Tax Essentials for 2005." Sujata Yalamanchili, Esq., also a partner with Hodgson Russ, was the moderator of the program. The event was part of the Smart Business Practices Breakfast Seminar series sponsored by the University at Buffalo's School of Management Alumni Association. It was held at UB's Center for Tomorrow.

 

The program covered some of the most significant changes in the tax law in 2004 that affect businesses. Discussions included international and domestic tax topics, corporate structure decisions, compliance and regulatory requirements, and more.

 

Ms. Joseffer is a member of the Firm's General/International Tax Practice Group, International/Cross-Border Practice Group, and Tax Dispute Resolution Practice Group. She regularly counsels clients on a full range of tax issues.

 

Ms. Yalamanchili is a member of the Firm's Real Estate & Finance Practice Group. Her practice includes multi-state leasing, purchase/sale, and financing matters. She represents national retailers, franchisees, and Fortune 500 firms and also represents regional and national developers and financial institutions.
