Mr. Gottfried spoke to a group of approximately 300 U.N. employees on procedures for U.N. retirees to obtain permanent U.S. residence and ancillary U.S. immigration benefits. It marked the seventh consecutive year he was invited to make this address. Mr. Gottfried has 28 years of immigration law experience in the New York City area. His clients are individuals and corporations, including an international airline and hospitals. Mr. Gottfried also represents U.N. employees and the diplomatic community in U.S. immigration cases. He obtains work visas, permanent resident status, and U.S. citizenship for his clients. Mr. Gottfried has obtained permanent residence for world-famous artists, photographers, athletes, scientists, and authors based on their extraordinary ability in their chosen professions. With more than 225 attorneys practicing in all major areas of law, Hodgson Russ is among the 200 largest law firms headquartered in the United States.
