Hodgson Russ Number One in Buffalo Who’s Who in Law

Twenty-three Hodgson Russ LLP attorneys are listed in the Business First/Buffalo Law Journal 2008 Who’s Who in Law directory — making Hodgson Russ the most-represented law firm in this year’s installment of the directory.

Attorneys are selected for inclusion through a peer-nomination process that asks Western New York lawyers to share the names of attorneys to whom they would refer particular types of matters.

In the directory, Gary M. Schober, president and CEO of Hodgson Russ, is quoted in an article examining how law firms in Buffalo are seizing opportunities during a period of economic downturn and a drop-off in demand for legal services at large law firms nationwide. “We didn’t just sit back and wait for the economy to improve,” Mr. Schober said in the article. “We used the time to improve our core business.”
