Six Hodgson Russ Attorneys Newly Admitted to New York State Bar

Hodgson Russ announces that six new attorneys, all resident in the law firm’s Buffalo office, have been admitted to the New York State Bar. The newly admitted attorneys are:

Dina L. Allen (Labor & Employment Practice Group). Ms. Allen concentrates her practice in labor and employment law, with a particular focus on matters involving the representation of public schools. Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, she was a law clerk in the office of counsel of a major food production corporation and an intern at the U.S. Attorney's Office in Buffalo.

Jeffrey T. Fiut (Business Litigation Practice Group). Mr. Fiut concentrates his practice in business litigation. Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, he was a legal intern with the Special Investigations Bureau of the Erie County District Attorney's Office.

Christopher J. Heller (Torts, Insurance & Products Liability Practice Group). Mr. Heller practices in the areas of torts, insurance, and products liability litigation. Prior to joining Hodgson Russ as a summer associate following his first year of law school, Mr. Heller worked as a legal assistant at the New York City office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

Sarah N. Miller (Business Litigation Practice Group). Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, where she focuses on business litigation, Ms. Miller was an extern at the New York State Office of the Attorney General Environmental Protection Bureau and a judicial intern for Hon. John M. Curran in the New York State Supreme Court, Eighth Judicial District, Commercial Division.Jordan L. Walbesser (Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group). Mr. Walbesser concentrates his practice in intellectual property law, with a particular focus on patents and licensing matters. He is also well versed in software, cloud computing, virtual identity, social media, and peer-to-peer networking issues. Before and during law school, Mr. Walbesser was a systems engineer at a major technology corporation. He was also an IP intern at the University at Buffalo Office of Science, Technology Transfer, and Economic Outreach.

Andrew W. Wright (State & Local Tax Practice Group). Mr. Wright focuses his practice on state and local tax matters with an emphasis on assisting in disputes with the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance and New York City Department of Finance and on sales tax, corporate franchise tax, personal income tax, and residency audits. Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Mr. Wright was an extern at the New York State Attorney General's Office.
