Best Lawyers Names Robert B. Fleming, Jr. 2009 Buffalo Corporate Lawyer of the Year

Best Lawyers in America, an established peer-review publication about the legal profession, has named Robert B. Fleming, Jr. Best Lawyers’ 2009 Buffalo Corporate Lawyer of the Year.

For the first time this year, Best Lawyers is designating Lawyers of the Year to honor attorneys practicing in high-profile legal areas in large communities. Only one attorney in each area of practice within each community is named Lawyer of the Year.

Mr. Fleming concentrates his practice in domestic and international mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures; director, stockholder, and other corporate matters; and antitrust, regulatory, and product distribution matters. He represents clients in a broad range of manufacturing, life science, and service industries. Mr. Fleming serves as a director of a number of companies and nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, he was confidential law clerk for U.S. Federal District Chief Judge John T. Curtin.
