Cathy Fleming Travels to Cuba as Part of Legal System Research ProgramOctober 9, 2009 Cathy Fleming, a partner in Hodgson Russ’s Business Litigation Practice Group in the firm’s New York City office, was part of a delegation of about 30 judges and lawyers that traveled recently to Cuba to research the country’s legal system. The trip, which was sanctioned by the U.S. State Department, was organized and sponsored by the New York Chapter of the National Association of Women Judges in cooperation with the National Union of Cuban Jurists (UNJC) and the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the People. The trip was designed as a research initiative related to both the Cuban and American legal systems. |
