Lance E. Rothenberg a Speaker on Ethics at ABA Tax Section Midyear Meeting

Lance E. Rothenberg, an associate in the Hodgson Russ LLP State & Local Tax Practice Group, was invited to speak at the American Bar Association Taxation Section’s 2011 Midyear Meeting, January 21, in Boca Raton, Florida.

Mr. Rothenberg lectured on ethics issues. In particular, he spoke on a panel discussing issues that can arise when there is a preexisting personal connection between an attorney and his or her client. He and his co-panelists provided practical solutions to real-life scenarios that are often confronted by practitioners but which can present thorny ethical and professional responsibility pitfalls.
