Hodgson Russ is pleased to welcome Patrick E. Fitzsimmons to the firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group in the Buffalo office.
Mr. Fitzsimmons focuses his practice on corporate and securities law, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate and finance. Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Mr. Fitzsimmons was a corporate associate in the New York City office of Ropes & Gray LLP, where he worked on matters involving private equity acquisition transactions, acquisitions of distressed loans and real estate, loan refinancings, and property development.
While studying at the University at Buffalo Law School, State University of New York, Mr. Fitzsimmons served as a student law clerk for Honorable John T. Curtin in the United States District Court, Western District of New York. He was also the executive editor of the Buffalo Law Review. At graduation he received the John N. Bennett Achievement Award, presented to the member of the graduating class with the highest scholastic achievement, and the Professor Thomas E. Headrick Award for excellence in corporate finance.
