Hodgson Russ partner Alice A. Joseffer a speaker at OBA cross-border tax update

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Alice A. Joseffer, Esq., a partner in Hodgson Russ LLP's General/International Tax and International/Cross-Border Practice Groups and head of the Tax Dispute Resolution Practice Group, was a featured speaker at the Ontario Bar Association Taxation Law Section's recent Cross-Border Update.
Ms. Joseffer's presentation addressed the topic "Canadian Issues Arising Out of the American Job Creations Act."
Ms. Joseffer regularly counsels clients on a full range of tax issues. She advises international business clients on cross-border structuring, tax issues involved in compensation and relocations of executives, tax implications of U.S. citizenship, and lawful permanent resident status. She is a contributor to Canadian Tax Highlights and other publications.
