Piazza has joined Hodgson Russ as a partner in the Restructuring, Bankruptcy & Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Piazza concentrates her practice on complex transactional, litigation, and advisory work relating to various types of restructurings, commercial finance, Chapter 11 bankruptcies, and workouts. She also has experience representing both merchant-debtors and liquidating agents in the disposition of inventory and other retail assets. She represents corporate debtors, creditors, and related parties in restructurings, asset-based financings, real and personal property acquisitions and dispositions. She also has experience representing large institutional lenders, distressed investors, and other major creditors. Hodgson Russ attorneys facilitate transactions around the world and in every substantive area of law, generally structuring multidisciplinary work teams to serve the specific, often complex, needs of our clients — public and privately held businesses, governmental entities, nonprofit institutions, and individuals.
