Community Involvement

Giving back to the communities we serve is an important part of our philosophy and tradition at Hodgson Russ. Our attorneys and staff serve on the boards of directors of more than 100 organizations, including those devoted to health care, education, the arts, civic and business interests, and social issues. At all levels, we encourage attorneys and staff to support community organizations with their time and skills. In addition to the time we devote to charities, the firm is pleased to provide financial support to more than 250 worthy organizations.

Hodgson Russ is also committed to providing legal services pro bono to needy individuals and organizations. The Erie County Bar Association praised Hodgson Russ for its outstanding pro bono efforts, and the United States District Court for the Western District of New York presented its Special Service Award to Hodgson Russ and past pro bono partner Hugh M. Russ III for dedication to pro bono activities.
