Ivan E. Lee joins Hodgson Russ’s Business Litigation Practice Group

Ivan E. Lee has joined Hodgson Russ’s Business Litigation Practice Group in the law firm’s Buffalo office.

Mr. Lee has represented corporate clients in government investigations, securities class actions, and derivative litigation involving allegations of fraud. He has also represented Fortune 500 and Fortune Global 500 companies in high-stakes commercial litigation in state and federal court. In addition, he specializes in advising financial institutions on compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, criminal money laundering statutes, and OFAC regulations. Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Mr. Lee was an associate at a large New York-based law firm. The New York State Bar Association recently granted Mr. Lee the honorific title “Empire State Counsel” for his pro bono work.

Mr. Lee received a J.D. from Cornell Law School and a B.A., summa cum laude, from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. While in law school, he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award and scholarships from Shearman & Sterling, the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, and the American Bar Association.
