BOCA RATON, FLA. — Hodgson Russ LLP is pleased to announce that Kenneth A. Wenzel has been elected to the firm’s partnership. He joins Eileen M. Martin, Lizabeth A. Martin, Kenneth D. Suzan, and Jill L. Yonkers as the newest members of the partnership, effective January 1, 2008.

A member of the Florida Bar since 1982, Mr. Wenzel is a member of the firm’s Corporate & Securities, Nonprofit Law, and Real Estate & Finance Practice Groups. He focuses his practice primarily on transactions involving real estate, commercial, and corporate law. He also has significant experience representing nonprofit corporations, including private foundations, private schools, charitable organizations, professional associations, and homeowner and condominium associations. Mr. Wenzel’s practice encompasses handling matters involving commercial and residential real estate transactions for purchases, sellers, and developers, as well as the representation of institutional and private lenders in real estate-based and asset-based lending transactions.

Outside of his practice, Mr. Wenzel is active in the Boca Raton community. He serves on the board of trustees of the Harid Conservatory, one of the world’s leading independent ballet schools. He also serves on the board of the Sunburst Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing college scholarships for qualified minority students pursuing studies in physical science.
