Hodgson Russ represents Great Lakes Bancorp in acquisition by First Niagara Financial Group

Hodgson Russ attorneys represented Great Lakes Bancorp, Inc. in its acquisition by First Niagara Financial Group (FNFG). Great Lakes Bancorp is the holding company for Greater Buffalo Savings Bank. The deal, worth approximately $153 million in cash and stock, is expected to close in the first quarter of 2008.
