Attorneys from Hodgson Russ provided U.S. securities counsel to Calpine Canada Resource Company in the recent sale of its affiliate, Calpine Canada Energy Finance ULC. The $359 million USD deal is expected to result in the energy company’s emergence from bankruptcy prior to January 31, 2008.
