Ellen V. Weissman a Co-Chair and Presenter at NYSBA Health Law Section Annual Meeting

Ellen V. Weissman, leader of the Hodgson Russ LLP Health Law Practice Group, was a program co-chair and a presenter at the annual meeting of the New York State Bar Association’s Health Law Section, held January 28 in New York City.

Her presentation addressed key proposed changes in Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement for ambulatory service providers, including hospital clinics, freestanding clinics, and physicians.

Ms. Weissman currently serves as chair of the Health Law Section’s Committee on Payment and Reimbursement and as a member of the section’s Executive Committee. She oversees the Health Law Section’s educational programs relating to reimbursement issues, as well as the section’s comments on proposed rules and legislation relating to Medicaid and Medicare payment issues.
