Gilbert a Presenter on Life Sciences and Health Law Bethany J. Gilbert, an associate in the Hodgson Russ Health Law and Life Sciences Practice Groups, was a speaker recently at three engagements focused on life sciences and health law. Ms. Gilbert delivered a presentation titled “FDA Basics and Fraud and Abuse Issues for Life Sciences Companies” via audio conference. The presentation was part of a weekly series of educational audio conferences hosted by ForeignExchange Translations aimed at the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Attendance for these audio conferences averages between 75 and 100 attendees. Ms. Gilbert was also a presenter at a recent health law career panel hosted by the University at Buffalo Health Law Organization, a 75-member law student group affiliated with the American Health Lawyers Association. During her presentation, she discussed the growth and evolution of the Hodgson Russ Health Law and Life Sciences Practice Groups to illustrate for aspiring law students the convergence of traditional health law and modern life science law practice. Ms. Gilbert also spoke to a group of approximately 65 clinical researchers and academics affiliated with Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Hosted by the Roswell Technology Transfer and Commercialization Office, the presentation focused on key regulatory milestones that significantly impact the research and development process for drugs, devices, and biologics. |
