Robert N. Gottfried Mentors Volunteers at Citizenship Now! Call-In

Robert N. Gottfried, a partner in the Hodgson Russ Immigration Practice Group, recently helped train volunteers at the week-long Citizenship Now! Call-In, which provided free answers to immigration-related questions for more than 15,000 callers. The event, sponsored by City University of New York and the Daily News, is now in its fifth year.

This year, 365 volunteers fluent in numerous languages assisted with the project. Several dignitaries visited the call center, including New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and New York Senator Charles Schumer.
