Announcement From U.S. Consulate General Toronto, American Citizen Services Unit

Effective Monday, August 17, 2009, an appointment will be required for all services at the U.S. Consulate General in Toronto, Canada. This includes passports (both first-time and renewals), consular reports of birth abroad, notarial services, and all other services. Anyone who comes to the Consulate without an appointment will be turned away with instructions to make an appointment.

Applicants should make sure they have all necessary documentation when they arrive at the Consulate.
