Association of University Technology Managers 2011 Annual Meeting 

At the 2011 AUTM Annual Meeting, Hodgson Russ attorney John D. Lopinski moderated the CLE session “Joint Inventor or Not: Equitable Entitlement as a Measure to Protect Ownership in Patent Rights,” which addressed a number of legal challenges faced by universities when faculty members collaborate with colleagues either inside or outside their institutions on an invention. The sessio focused on joint inventorship and provided practical steps universities can take to protect themselves, their faculty members, and intellectual property rights.
