John F. Prato was appointed consul general of Canada in New York in 2011. Prior to that, he was a managing director in the Equity Capital Markets Group at TD Securities, the investment banking division of The TD Bank Financial Group, responsible for senior client coverage of a wide variety of leading Canadian companies. Mr. Prato serves on the boards of directors of St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation, Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research, and CommunityLend Inc.
