Daniel C. Oliverio Quoted on Hodgson Russ’s Destruction Policy in ‘Photocopier Secrets
Buffalo Business First recently published “Photocopier Secrets,” a story warning readers about the potentially discoverable material stored on photocopy machine hard drives.
Hodgson Russ's chairman, Daniel C. Oliverio, is quoted in the article on the measures Hodgson Russ takes to prevent sensitive client and internal information from falling into the wrong hands, saying:
In the cases where we lease equipment, we have a provision in our lease agreement that allows us ... to take the hard drive and completely destroy it and obliterate it just as if the machine was ours. Our destruction policy is total and absolute destruction so nothing remains as a vestige once the machine leaves our office.
