Hodgson Russ Hosts Breakfast Seminars for Niagara Frontier Corporate Counsel Association

Hodgson Russ LLP recently hosted breakfast seminars for the Niagara Frontier Corporate Counsel Association. Three Hodgson Russ attorneys gave presentations at the seminars, which offered continuing legal education credit for attendees.

Robert J. Lane Jr., lead partner in the firm's Business Litigation Practice Group, and Catherine Grantier Cooley, an attorney in the litigation group, presented "Arbitration: Advantages, Disadvantages, and New Developments."

Terrence M. Gilbride, a partner in the Real Estate & Finance Practice Group, presented "Commercial Leasing Issues for In-House Counsel."

Mr. Lane practices in the area of commercial and business-related litigation, with a focus on intellectual property litigation, securities litigation, and business litigation. He is on the board of arbitrators for both the American Arbitration Association and the National Association of Securities Dealers.

Ms. Cooley represents securities firms, investment advisors, broker-dealers, and brokers in NASD arbitrations and litigations, including class actions in both federal and state courts. She also practices in the area of construction litigation, representing owners and contractors in construction claims, bond claims, and lien actions before both arbitration panels and the courts.

Mr. Gilbride's practice includes commercial leasing and real estate financing transactions, multi-state acquisitions and financings, representation of clients engaged in hotel acquisition and financing transactions, sports facility leasing and development, privatized student housing projects, and industrial development agency projects.
