B.A., summa cum laude, University of Denver

J.D., magna cum laude, SUNY Buffalo Law School

For more than 30 years, Alice offered a full-range of tax services, focusing her practice on successfully resolving U.S. federal tax controversies and advising U.S. and foreign clients on international tax issues.

Her substantive knowledge of tax and her practical experience provided effective representation in federal tax controversies, ranging from estate tax and gift tax to income tax and employment tax. She advocated for clients to favorably resolve their issues with the IRS at all levels and stages, from audit to litigation.

Much of Alice’s practice involved Canadian clients and U.S. clients with Canadian interests, advising on cross-border transactions and operations, treaty issues, tax issues involved in compensation and the relocations of executives, and the tax implications of U.S. citizenship and lawful permanent resident status.
