Amanda concentrates her practice in the area of employee benefits, with particular focus on executive compensation, nonqualified deferred compensation, 409A tax compliance, equity-based plans, and cross-border issues.  Her practice includes providing advice, design, and drafting assistance to employers on a variety of plans and agreements for executives.  Amanda additionally assists employers with establishing and administering qualified retirement plans.

Amanda’s experience includes serving as a general attorney for U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Office of Assistant Chief Counsel in Buffalo, where she provided legal advice and representation on a variety of subjects including employment, labor, ethics, immigration, enforcement authorities, and trade.  Prior to graduating from law school, Amanda’s legal internship experience included an intensive judicial clerkship under Hon. Richard J. Arcara in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York, and the summer associate program at Hodgson Russ.
