Paul has more than 30 years of experience in complex business and intellectual property litigation. He has handled copyright infringement, patent infringement, and trademark/Lanham Act/trade dress lawsuits throughout the country. He has represented clients in advertising matters with the FTC and several state attorneys general. He also litigates employment discrimination and general business cases such as complicated contract lawsuits and trade secret litigation.

Paul has frequently represented television, radio, and print media in a wide variety of defamation, shield law, and other media-related cases. He has represented a major U.S. performing rights organization for 20 years in music copyright cases and has represented a direct broadcast satellite service in hundreds of satellite piracy cases. More recently, Paul has handled a multitude of Internet-related trademark actions and domain name disputes, including federal lawsuits under Anticybersquatter Consumer Protection Act and ICANN domain name proceedings.

Paul is also a licensed pilot (ASEL, instrument-rated) and an amateur radio operator.
