At this event, Hodgson Russ attorney served on a panel titled “Inventory: Recent Guidance, Anticipated Guidance.” The panel discussed issues concerning Robinson Knife Manufacturing Co., Inc. v. Commissioner, a Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit case of first impression regarding tax accounting for sales-based royalties that garnered significant national attention and affected regulations the IRS proposed after the decision.
