New Attorneys Join Hodgson Russ
Hodgson Russ is pleased to announce that Kenneth Hunt, Mila Buckner, Roopa Chakkappan, Jennifer Cameron and Erin Delaney have joined our Buffalo and New York City offices.
Kenneth Hunt, Senior Associate, has joined the Trusts and Estates Practice in our Buffalo office. Hunt will focus his practice on individuals, families, beneficiaries, corporate and individual fiduciaries regarding all aspects of complex estate and trust planning, administration, and litigation. Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Kenneth was an associate in the Trusts, Estates, and Tax group at a large firm in Wilmington, Delaware and then an associate in the Private Clients group of an international law firm in Rochester, New York.
Mila Buckner, Associate, has joined the Environmental Practice in our New York City office. Buckner will focus her practice on clients with issues involving environmental law, renewable energy, sustainable development, land use law, municipal law, and real estate development. Before joining Hodgson Russ, Mila practiced Energy Regulatory Law with a firm in San Francisco and also worked as a judicial extern for Chief Justice Cantil-Sakauye of the California Supreme Court.
Roopa Chakkappan, Senior Associate, has joined the Health Practice in our Buffalo office. Chakkappan will focus her practice on health law, administrative law, regulatory compliance, and administrative enforcement defense, counseling both public and private entities on a wide range of matters, including compliance with the New York Public Health Law and federal and state Medicaid and Medicare statutes. Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Roopa worked at the District of Columbia’s Medicaid Oversight Agency, the Department of Health Care Finance.
Jennifer Cameron, Associate, has joined the Environmental Practice in our Buffalo office. Cameron will concentrate her practice on environmental and energy law, advising companies and municipalities on issues including regulatory compliance, environmental due diligence, renewable energy development, land use, and zoning. Before joining Hodgson Russ, Jenny represented clients across New York State in environmental matters such as negotiation of consent orders with the New York State Department of Environment; compliance analysis and advice; and Clean Water Act litigation.
Erin Delaney, Associate, has joined the Immigration Practice in our Buffalo office. Delaney will focus her practice on multinational corporations in the preparation of temporary work permit petitions and employment-based permanent resident petitions. Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Erin worked as Senior Counsel for a Buffalo-based specialty finance company where she handled commercial transactions and litigation-related matters.
