New Attorneys Join Hodgson Russ
A select group of attorneys have recently joined Hodgson Russ in our Buffalo, Albany, New York City and Rochester offices.
Joseph Bolognese has joined the Corporate & Business Practice as an Associate. He represents domestic and international clients on a variety of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. Joe also has experience in securities regulation and compliance, including public company reporting and federal and state law aspects of private offerings. Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Joe was an associate in the New York City office of a large international law firm. Joe is admitted to practice in New York. He is resident in our New York City office.
Doran Gittelman has joined the State & Local Tax Practice as an Associate. He handles disputes involving the New York State and City Tax Departments and counsels businesses and individuals on a range of multistate, state and local tax issues. Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Doran worked at Deloitte in the Multistate Tax Services group where he handled state and local tax controversies and consulting for individuals and Fortune 100 companies. Doran is admitted to practice in New York. He is resident in our New York City office.
Gina Kim has joined the Intellectual Property & Technology Practice as an Associate. She focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. Her areas of concentration include cell biology, biochemistry, immunology, pharmaceuticals (including small molecules, biologics, and delivery methods), diagnostics, therapeutics, veterinary diagnostics, food chemistry and bio-organic chemistry. Gina is admitted to practice in New York and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She is resident in our Buffalo office.
Graham Leonard has returned to the Firm’s Trusts & Estates Practice as a Senior Associate. He advises individuals, institutions and family offices on all aspects of trust and estate administration. He has significant experience advising on multi-jurisdictional and cross-border trust and estate administration. Graham is admitted to practice in New York. He is resident in our Rochester office.
Sarah Main has joined the Environmental, Public Authority, and Renewable Energy Practices as an Associate. She represents corporate and governmental clients on a variety of energy-related transactions, environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, and land use and zoning matters. Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Sarah was counsel to the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority where she worked on various State incentive programs. Sarah is admitted to practice in New York. She is resident in our Albany office.
Katherine Piazza has joined the State and Local Tax Practice as an Associate. She focuses on state and local tax litigation and planning and represents clients in a wide range of multistate tax issues, from planning and compliance to audit and litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Katherine was a state and local tax associate in an international law firm where she advised clients in a variety of multistate tax issues. Katie is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, and her New York State admittance is pending. She is resident in our New York City office.
Paul Steinig has joined the Corporate & Securities Practice as an Associate. He represents domestic and international clients on a variety of general corporate matters. Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Paul was an associate for a large New York City law firm where he worked on a broad range of commercial transactions, with a focus on capital markets transactions. Paul is admitted to practice in New York. He is resident in our Buffalo office.
