An article by Hodgson Russ intellectual property attorney Anne F. Downey, “Of Athletes and Video Games,” was published in the March 2014 edition of the Bulletin, the official monthly publication of the Bar Association of Erie County. In the article, Anne discusses whether a video game company can legally use an athlete’s likeness in a product without his or her permission.
