Proposed Food Import Regulations Issued Under the Food Modernization Act

Monaghan discusses proposed regulations to the U.S. Food Safety Modernization Act, which would require importers to perform certain risk-based activities to verify that food imported into the United States has been produced in a manner providing the same level of public health protection as that required of domestic food producers.
