
Katherine is a paralegal in the Real Estate and Finance Practice. She has been working in residential real estate in New York City for 21 years both as a paralegal at a small law firm where she acted as transfer agent for the cooperative buildings that we represented as corporate counsel and assisted the Real Estate partners with their individual client matters, and as a transfer agent for a property management company. Katherine has experience drafting contracts of sale, preparing and submitting transfer tax forms using the ACRIS system, drafting and filing UCC-1 Financing Statements and UCC-3 Termination Statements, ordering and reviewing lien searches and title reports, preparation of documents related to residential real estate closings and conducting closings.
