Robert B. Conklin

Retired Partner

Bob has served as leader of the firm's Business Litigation Practice, as a leader of the firm's Litigation Practice Area, and as co-leader of the Employment Litigation Practice. Before becoming the general counsel of the firm in 2006, he served as president of the firm and CEO from 2001 to 2005. A senior trial lawyer, Bob has trial experience in complex business, insurance, railroad, product liability, and employment discrimination litigation. 

Bob has held teaching positions at the University at Buffalo School of Law and has often lectured for the New York State Bar Association Continuing Education Program and for the Conference of Casualty Insurance Companies. Bob has also served as vice chair of the Eighth Judicial District Attorney Grievance Committee.
