As a member of the Real Estate, Environment, Energy & Finance Practice, Bianca focuses her practice on representing real estate sponsors and developers, corporate clients, investment funds, and individuals with their real estate transactional matters. She has experience working across various industries, including private equity, industrial, retail, hotel, renewable energy development, and construction.


Bianca offers a comprehensive range of services within her commercial real estate practice. She handles sales and acquisitions, leasing, and easements, title and survey reviews, managing project development matters and drafting and negotiating a wide array of real estate agreements. Her expertise also includes structuring real estate investment vehicles and preparing the related documents, including LLC and partnership agreements.


Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Bianca practiced at a large Buffalo-based law firm and also served as general counsel for a renewable energy company, where she used her expertise to provide counsel and oversight in the development of solar energy projects. Her responsibilities included joint venture structuring, joint development arrangements, a variety of offtake arrangements, Value of Distributed Energy Resources (VDER) value stack agreements, asset purchase agreements, and all other commercial transactions integral to the full life span of the company’s development of renewable energy generation facilities.

Representative Work

  • Sell-Side: Assisted in the representation of a renewable energy company in the negotiation and closing of related
    transaction documents, including pre- and post-closing agreements for the development of solar energy projects valued
    at $2 million.
  • Sell-Side: Represented a real estate developer and played a lead role in the negotiation and closing of a $2.8 million
    commercial real estate transaction.
  • Advised as general counsel to a renewable energy company in the development of solar assets generating
    approximately 100MW.
