Of Counsel

Christopher Cillié is an attorney in the Intellectual Property Practice at Hodgson Russ. He focuses on helping clients protect and leverage their innovations by advising on strategies to secure patents, safeguard trade secrets, and manage trademarks and copyrights.

Christopher draws on years of experience managing IP portfolios and prosecuting patents in the U.S. and abroad. He has prepared and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications and developed freedom-to-operate and patentability opinions that guide clients in bringing new technologies to market. He also negotiates agreements that protect emerging intellectual property in collaborative ventures.

With a strong technical foundation from his prior engineering roles at Sikorsky Aircraft and Intel Corporation, Christopher understands the complexities of advanced technologies and translates them into effective IP protections. His experience as an in-house IP manager and outside counsel gives him a practical perspective on both sides of the table.
