Associate

Ryan is an associate in the firm’s Education and Labor & Employment Practices where he assists attorneys in advising school clients on operational matters, purchasing and procurement, as well as legal issues involving students such as residency issues, discipline and special education matters. He also works on matters concerning compliance with federal wage and hour laws; worker classification issues, hiring and employment practices; avoidance of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims; discipline; and discharge.

Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Ryan served as a law clerk for New Era Cap, LLC. He also taught courses at the collegiate level for six years and was a teaching fellow for the University at Buffalo School of Law where he focused on teaching courses related to civil procedure and constitutional law.
