Buffalo Niagara Human Resources Association’s Annual Legal Update 

Hodgson Russ attorneys Emina Poricanin, Michael Flanagan, and John Godwin,  delivered two concurrent presentations, “The Affordable Care Act” and “ and “Employment Law Issues and Claims of Tomorrow,” at the Buffalo Niagara Human Resources Association’s Annual Legal Update on August 6, 2014. The presentations covered amendments to the Fair Labor Standards Act Regulations and the State Wage Theft Prevention Act; legislation expanding rights for interns; significant decisions interpreting the Pregnancy Discrimination Act; the EEOC’s challenges to severance agreements; the newest and most significant decisions from the National Labor Relations Board.
