Christine A. Bonaguide Named to Business First’s 40 Under Forty

Christine A. Bonaguide, a partner in the Hodgson Russ LLP Corporate & Securities Practice Group, has been named to Business First's 2010 40 Under Forty.

The award recognizes individuals for their outstanding professional achievements as well as their commitment to the Western New York community. The winners are young leaders in various segments of the Buffalo Niagara business community, including law, government, health care, nonprofit, and more. Ms. Bonaguide and the rest of the 2010 class will be honored at a luncheon November 9 at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center.

Ms. Bonaguide practices in the areas of corporate law and governance, contract law, and corporate finance. She frequently represents clients in complex domestic and international commercial transactions, including business contracts, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, reorganizations, and business sales. She provides corporate and securities law advice to a variety of public and private companies and devotes a portion of her practice to e-commerce and technology issues. She frequently represents Canadian businesses with U.S. legal issues. A significant portion of Ms. Bonaguide's practice involves legal issues facing family-owned and other closely held businesses.

Her community involvement includes serving as the chair of the board of the Canisius Women's Business Center, the president of the Buffalo Wellesley Club, a Girl Scout leader, and a member of the boards of directors of World Trade Center Buffalo Niagara and the Elmwood Village Association.
