A parking lot in Sag Harbor, New York, is at the center of a legal battle featured in The East Hampton Star. In the matter, John Dax represents the Village of Sag Harbor in its fight against 11 Bridge Street LLC.

The Village formerly leased the lot in question from KeySpan Energy for one dollar a year. However, the LLC and its primary shareholder, Adam Potter, outbid the Village by offering to pay $40,000 annually for the first ten years of a 99-year contract and $50,000 annually thereafter. Potter is now offering to lease the lot back to the Village for his cost.
