May 8, 2007

Anita Coles Costello, a partner in Hodgson Russ LLP’s Employee Benefits Practice Group, has been named president of the board of directors of Hallwalls Contemporary Art Center. In 2003, she joined the board and became chair of the Audit & Finance Committee and most recently was the board’s vice president.

Ms. Costello concentrates her practice in employee benefits, qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, ERISA, tax, executive compensation, and stock and equity-based compensation programs. In addition to a J.D. from University at Buffalo Law School, State University of New York, Ms. Costello holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in art history from Bryn Mawr College.

Hallwalls’ mission is twofold: to serve artists by supporting the creation and presentation of new work in the visual, media, performing, and literary arts, and to serve the public by making these works available. The art center recently relocated to the restored former church at the corner of Delaware and Tupper.
