Associates Amy L. Katcherian and Patricia C. Sandison Join Hodgson Russ

Amy L. Katcherian has joined Hodgson Russ’s Business Litigation Practice Group in the law firm’s New York City office. Patricia C. Sandison is in the firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group in the Buffalo office.

Ms. Katcherian represents corporate and individual clients in complex civil litigation and white-collar defense matters in both state and federal courts. Her experience includes representation of clients involved in investigations conducted by government and self-regulatory entities, including the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. She also has experience in criminal prosecutions relating to securities fraud, tax fraud, and health care fraud.

Ms. Sandison focuses her practice on corporate law, securities law, and regulatory compliance. She has advised investment management clients in connection with a diverse range of funds and investment products, including mutual funds, private investment funds, venture capital funds, offshore funds, and others. Her experience includes drafting and reviewing organizational documents and disclosures, advising on regulatory and compliance matters, and assisting registered investment companies and their trustees and advisers with initial public offerings, mergers, liquidations, and structuring matters.

Ms. Katcherian received a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a J.D. cum laude from University of Notre Dame Law School.

After receiving her B.A. cum laude from Boston University, Ms. Sandison earned her J.D., also cum laude, from the University at Buffalo Law School, State University of New York.
