Stimulus Scams Awareness

Scammers use any excuse to try to trick people into giving up their money and personal information. The FBI warns that coronavirus fraud is on the rise with phishes, calls, and text messages luring victims with promises of free items or access to government payments. Phishing attacks are asking for personal information to "verify" contacts before sending checks – like many other variations, this is a bogus claim.
