Ava Horgan is a law clerk in the Business Litigation Practice at Hodgson Russ, where she supports attorneys in resolving complex commercial disputes for clients ranging from closely held businesses to multinational corporations. Her work includes conducting legal research and assisting with the preparation of pleadings and discovery materials in matters involving contract disputes, business torts, shareholder issues, and regulatory investigations.
Prior to joining Hodgson Russ, Ava participated in the firm’s Summer Associate Program. While in law school, she traveled to Kampala, Uganda, where she worked with Pepperdine University School of Law’s Global Justice Institute and the Ugandan Judiciary. There, she contributed to the negotiation of plea agreements for incarcerated individuals, gaining meaningful international legal experience and a deeper understanding of comparative criminal justice systems.
